I’m Maria, aka WriterGig, and I’ve been earning money online since 2003 and making passive income online since 2007. What began as a venture to earn a little extra to pay off debt evolved into mortgage payments when needed and is now becoming a way to build wealth … with far better returns than my Roth IRA.
I’ve earned money online through eBay, ghost writing, and professional freelance writing for well-paying clients. I’ve tried a variety of ways to generate extra cash using the Internet, but none have been as rewarding as building passive income through online writing and marketing.
My goal is to generate a diverse residual income of $50,000 a year, working very part time, before I am 30. As a stay at home mom with three young children, whom I dearly love, my time is limited. To maximize my income while minimizing the hours I am working, I’ve put my efforts into projects that pay over and over again, including websites, content articles, referral links and ebooks.
I am married to a wonderful husband, a loving father to our three children. Our relationship is an incredible blessing and worth more than all the money in the world … and I mean that. My husband works hard and supports our family, make no mistake about it. I just decided to take the moms-extra-spending-money concept to the extreme and enjoy the creative outlet of writing online, so here I am. My second goal is to use my earnings to get us out of debt and then save for the future, and you can track my progress as I go.
